The character of the central solution is the collection, first verification and coordination of the incoming reports in a central position. This can be the compliance office or any other responsible division (e.g. corporate security, audit) respectively department.
The central position gathers all incoming reports and verifies them in the anonymous dialogue with the whistleblower via the BKMS® System. After the decision about the relevance of the information the assignment to the individual responsible analyst will be made by the assignment function in the BKMS® System. Irrelevant reports will be deleted by the central position.
a) Manual Assignment according to category (criminal offence)
After the first evaluation of the given report the central position assigns it to the responsible analyst, e.g. security relevant information to the corporate security, discrimination to Human Resources, corruption to the audit department.
b) Manual Assignment according to the workload of the analyst
After the verification of the information the central position can distribute the reports to the analysts in order to ensure a steady workload.
Depending on the authorisation concept of allowance the analysts only see those cases, which were assigned to them after the first verification. The analysts continue with further investigations and the dialogue with the whistleblower. At the same time they stay in continuous contact with the central position that monitors the processing directly in the BKMS® System.
The location of the central position is irrelevant as well as the location of the individual analysts. There is no installation of any hard- or software, analysts only need an internet access and their individual access data.
In this constellation the service of translators is also representable. The central position assigns a certain report to the translator and dispossesses him of it after the translation process.
At any time the central position has the possibility to change the undertaken assignment according to the authorisations of the analyst.
