Prevention of corruption


Corruption is the generic term for infractions such as bribery and acceptance and granting of benefits, but also money laundering, abuse of authority, illegal agreements or fraud. It is therefore associated, in many cases, with the exploitation of a position of power. Thus, corruption in the workplace includes any process that leads to the abuse of a position of trust in order to gain an advantage in the workplace.


To prevent and combat such behaviour, a whistleblowing system should be available to all employees and suppliers to promote the issue of corruption prevention and to minimise future risks.


The rules of integrity (“Regelungen zur Integrität”) drawn up by the Federal Government can be consulted in order to provide information on the prevention of corruption and how it can be promoted:
