BKMS® System extends whistleblower protection at the BaFin

The Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) is increasingly committed to the dissemination of information by whistleblowers. Since January, whistleblowers can contact the BaFin (if desired anonymously) by using the certified internet-based communication application BKMS® System of the Berlin based compliance solutions company Business Keeper AG, to report about infringements against supervisory provisions.

Beginning in the summer of 2006, the BaFin established a central contact point which allowed whistleblowers to submit information via post, E-Mail, telephone or in person. The Business Keeper Monitoring System® (BKMS® System) now completes the list of communication channels with another key component.
