more informationAs a public law institution jointly sponsored by the state and the municipalities in Baden-Württemberg, Komm.ONE (AöR) advises and accompanies its customers on their way into an increasingly technology-based future. It procures, develops and operates automated data processing procedures for municipal corporations, their associations and their companies in the state of Baden-Württemberg within the scope of its legal mandate. Komm.ONE is owned 88 percent by the municipalities and 12 percent by the state of Baden-Württemberg. Komm.ONE (AöR) employs a total of around 1,800 staff at seven locations in Baden-Württemberg.

Komm.ONE has chosen BKMS Incident Reporting because it reliably and verifiably fulfils all requirements regarding anonymity, dialogue capability, accessibility as well as data protection. Therefore, the company will introduce BKMS Incident Reporting at the end of 2021 in order to provide employees with a trustworthy possibility to seek advice or to point out significant violations of the Code of Conduct - especially illegal business practices.

In addition, it also offers guidance for employees throughout their day-to-day work. With Carus Transparent, a BKMS® Incident Reporting system, we encourage employees, patients and others to report any irregular behaviour. In doing so, we aim to prevent and tackle harm to patients, staff and university medicine.

For more than ten years the Austrian justice authorities find themselves opposed to increasing numbers of particular comprehensive white-collar crimes with growing international crosslinks. The increasing complexity of those proceedings demands modern concepts and structures for an efficient and successful performing of the investigating authorities. By means of the WKStA a law enforcement agency was instated in 2011, in which the necessary competence and expertise for a qualified and efficient prosecution of massive business and corruption offenses is condensed.
Especially in prospect of the prosecution of white-collar crime and corruption it applies to develop new strategies and procedures to raise the efficiency of the prosecution and to hand the necessary tools to the authorities for accomplishing their goal. The BKMS® System enables prosecutors to communicate with anonymous whistleblowers for a competent resolving of cases.
Every year, the health system suffers billions of euros in damages due to systematic billing fraud and corruption by individuals. The Bavarian Central Office for Combating Fraud and Corruption in the Health Care System (Bayerische Zentralstelle zur Bekämpfung von Betrug und Korruption im Gesundheitswesen (ZKG)) was founded to prosecute such offences and is located at the Nuremberg Public Prosecutor's Office. The ZKG is responsible for corruption and property offences committed by members of the health care professions, who require state-regulated training to practise their profession or to use their professional title, in direct connection with their professional practice in the Free State of Bavaria.
With the BKMS® system, the public prosecutors of the CCG now have another tool at their disposal to clear up cases of fraud and corruption, where experience shows that the number of unreported cases is high.

Gesellschaft für Dienste im Alter mbH (GDA) was founded on 1 January 1971 as a non-profit company. It operates eleven facilities in Lower Saxony, Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate, including seven residential homes, a senior citizens' residence, two nursing homes and assisted living.
GDA is a company run by people for people. But where people act, misconduct can also occur. Violations of the mission statement, violations of human and social rules or criminal law standards not only damage the company, but the residents and employees in particular. Fraud and corruption are damaging for the health care system and for the whole society. Few delinquents harm many victims and enrich themselves at the expense of others. Enough reasons to fight actively against the cause of these negative consequences and to stand together for a health care system with integrity.
